Healing of the Body Prayer
A Blessing for Beauty

by John O’Donohue

May the beauty of your life become more visible to you, that you may glimpse your wild divinity.
May the wonders of the earth call you forth from all your small, secret prisons and set your feet free in the pastures of possibility.
May the light of dawn anoint your eyes that you may behold what a miracle a day is.
May the liturgy of twilight shelter all your fears and darknesses within the circle of ease.
May the angel of memory surprise you in bleak times with new gifts from the harvest of your vanished days.
May you allow no dark hand to quench the candle of hope in your heart.
May you discover a new generosity towards yourself and encourage yourself to engage your life as a great adventure.
May the outside voices of fear and despair find no echo in you.
May you always trust the urgency and wisdom of your own spirit.
May the shelter and nourishment of all the good you have done, the love you have shown, the suffering you have carried, awaken around you to bless your life a thousand times.
And when love finds the path to your door, may you open like the earth to the dawn and thrust your every hidden color towards its nourishment of life.
May you find enough stillness and silence to savor the kiss of God on your soul and delight in the eternity that shaped you, that holds you and calls you, and that you may know despite confusion, anxiety and emptiness, your name is written in Heaven.
And may you come to see your life as a quiet sacrament of service which awakens around you a rhythm where doubt gives way to the grace of wonder, where what is awkward and strained can find elegance, and where crippled hope can find wings, and torment enter at last into the grace of serenity.
May divine beauty bless you.

The Gentle Art of Blessing

by Pierre Pradervand

On awakening, bless this day, for it is already full of unseen good which your blessings will call forth; for to bless is to acknowledge the unlimited good that is embedded in the very texture of the universe and awaiting each and all.
On passing people in the street, on the bus, in places of work and play, bless them. The peace of your blessing will accompany them on their way and the aura of its gentle fragrance will be a light to their path.
On meeting and talking to people, bless them in their health, their work, their joy, their relationships to God, themselves, and others. Bless them in their abundance, their finances…bless them in every conceivable way, for such blessings not only sow seeds of healing but one day will spring forth as flowers of joy in the waste places of your own life.
As you walk, bless the city in which you live, its government and teachers, its nurses and street sweepers, its children and bankers, its priests and prostitutes. The minute anyone expresses the least aggression or unkindness to you, respond with a blessing: bless them totally, sincerely, joyfully, for such blessings are a shield which protects them from the ignorance of their misdeed, and deflects the arrow that was aimed at you.
To bless means to wish, unconditionally, total, unrestricted good for others and events from the deepest wellspring in the innermost chamber of your heart: it means to hallow, to hold in reverence, to behold with utter awe that which is always a gift from the Creator. He who is hallowed by your blessing is set aside, consecrated, holy, whole. To bless is yet to invoke divine care upon, to think or speak gratefully for, to confer happiness upon – although we ourselves are
never the bestower, but simply the joyful witnesses of Life’s abundance.
To bless all without discrimination of any sort is the ultimate form of giving, because those you bless will never know from whence came the sudden ray of sun that burst through the clouds of their skies, and you will rarely be a witness to the sunlight in their lives.
When something goes completely askew in your day, some unexpected event knocks down your plans and you too also, burst into blessing: for life is teaching you a lesson, and the very event
you believe to be unwanted, you yourself called forth, so as to learn the lesson you might balk against were you not to bless it. Trials are blessings in disguise, and hosts of angels follow in their path.
To bless is to acknowledge the omnipresent, universal beauty hidden to material eyes; it is to activate that law of attraction which, from the furthest reaches of the universe, will bring into your life exactly what you need to experience and enjoy.

When you pass a prison, mentally bless its inmates in their innocence and freedom, their gentleness, pure essence and unconditional forgiveness; for one can only be prisoner of one’s self-image, and a free man can walk unshackled in the courtyard of a jail, just as citizens of countries where freedom reigns can be prisoners when fear lurks in their thoughts.
When you pass a hospital, bless its patients in their present wholeness, for even in their suffering, this wholeness awaits in them to be discovered. When your eyes behold a man in tears, or
seemingly broken by life, bless him in his vitality and joy: for the material senses present but the inverted image of the ultimate splendor and perfection which only the inner eye beholds.
It is impossible to bless and to judge at the same time. So hold constantly as a deep, hallowed, intoned thought that desire to bless, for truly then shall you become a peacemaker, and one day you shall, everywhere, behold the very face of God.

The Prayer to Help Create More Flow in Your Life

Beloved God, I call on your Light, my guides and Higher Self to bless my path
I ask for all obstacles to be removed from my path
May these blessings rain out to all others on their paths
Help me see the Light… Thank you Beloved for showing me!
Help me live in the Light… Thank you Beloved for flowing through me!

As I am, I accept myself as I am
All is in divine order for me to let the Light through all of my being
Bring the Light through all that appears to be cracks inside of me
Open me with your Love and Gently wash me
I give away all I believe I need and want in life
If it does not serve me
Take it from me
So I know the Love is holding me
I accept I shall receive all that is in the highest for me and the highest form of support is now being brought to me

I call on the Light to Guide me
Bring all I need to live in oneness with my Divinity
Be my helper and my friend, and guide
Thank you Beloved for all you gift me

Say this prayer each day, for 3 days in a row & you will experience a change and new flow in your life.

Saint Theresa’s Prayer

May today there be peace within.

May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.

May you be content knowing you are a child of God.

Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.

It is there for each and every one of us.

Praying to Archangel Haniel (Angel of Joy)

Haniel, angel of joy, I thank God for making you such a powerful channel for joy to flow from God into people’s lives. Please help me
find fulfillment in God — the source of all joy — rather than looking for it elsewhere and becoming frustrated and disappointed when
I don’t find it. Inspire me to pursue a closer relationship with God so I can truly find lasting joy.

Show me how to return to the sense of wonder I had as a child, when I enjoyed life without feeling guilty for taking the time to play
and explore the wonderful world that God has made. Remind me often to include free time in my schedule so I can fully notice,
experience, and appreciate the many small yet delightful blessings all around me in creation — from the fresh scent of the air when I
walk outside after it rains to the delicious taste of an apple when I eat a snack. Encourage me to spend relaxing time with my family
and friends, as well, so I can enjoy the simple blessings of being together — from hugging my spouse to talking with a friend over
coffee. Just like a child, help me to always be learning something new and growing in wisdom as a result. Help me have the deep
faith and trust in God that children have and that God wants people to continue to have, no matter how old we become.

Whenever you see that I’m being too hard on myself, or on other people, empower me to be more graceful. Remind me of God’s
grace that is always available to me. Help me tap into that grace so I’ll be free to be myself (instead of striving to present a certain
image to others) with the confidence that I am loved completely and unconditionally by God and his angels, like you. Heal any
shame in my soul that is interfering with me embracing grace. Show me how to give grace to other people so they feel truly loved and
respected with me. Guide me to navigate my relationships with difficult people gracefully so even when others aren’t graceful to me I can set an example of grace. Help me develop and maintain harmonious relationships with God and other people. Send me healing from the wounds that stress and sorrow have given me.

Teach me how to laugh whenever I encounter something humorous in life. Point out funny situations I can enjoy. Encourage me to
learn from them, as well, so I can better understand and appreciate the unique, quirky characteristics of the people I know and the
fascinating aspects of human nature. Urge me to make time to celebrate and have fun regularly.

Inspire me to work with excellence on creative projects. Send me the ideas I need, sending me messages in a variety of ways — from extrasensory perception to dreams — so I can express my thoughts and feelings in creative ways that help make the world a
better place.

Help me live joyfully and gracefully so I can be in harmony with God and other people every day. Amen.
